In a fractured world born from ancient ruin, the Overfiend awakens ahead of schedule and senses the approach of his destined rival, the Lord of Chaos. Amano Jyaku and his sister Megumi journey toward the kingdom of Azuma to investigate these unsettling signs. There they find themselves drawn into the dictator Caesar’s expansionist plots while a revolt stirs among demon beasts and long-buried dangers begin to stir once more. With the balance of the realms at stake, Amano seeks a way to avert another cycle of destruction.
