In this opening episode, Tamaki discovers a long-forgotten sketchbook in her closet, prompting her to recall how Rouma has quietly featured in her personal memories over the years. At the same time, Rouma faces the possible shutdown of his kickboxing club, which lacks the members needed for any team events. During an art makeup class he sketches a classmate, then steps in to help her after she encounters trouble with an unwelcome follower, leading her to draw nearer to him. These events leave Tamaki questioning the limits of their longstanding childhood friendship.
