Haunted by the loss of his mother years earlier, Distol discovers that his sister has been chosen as the Holy Maiden, a role that demands her life to maintain the seal on the demon king. Desperate to shield his remaining family, he is approached by a witch who promises him formidable power in return for a dangerous quest. He must invade Bastarauge, seize its national treasure, and abduct Princess Elena to corrupt her from within. As the offer takes hold, Distol confronts the first steps of this shadowy path in episode three.
