Masahiko remains committed to saving himself for the woman who lingers only as a hazy memory. In this episode, however, his neighbor Asuka’s private longing for him begins to influence their everyday interactions, creating moments of unexpected closeness. At the same time, pressures from his boss, his newly arrived childhood friend, and campus figures continue to test his resolve. As these overlapping interests intensify, Masahiko must weigh his ideals against the immediate reality surrounding him.
