Sid enters the fierce competition of the Tournament of the Gods with his partner at his side, eager to test his skills against the land's greatest warriors. Soon after his initial victories, however, he uncovers the event's hidden corruption when Aquross strikes with a devastating curse that leaves him wracked by constant agony. The only respite comes at a steep price, forcing Sid to pursue the life force of angels while the tournament's true purpose becomes clear. Resolved to break the cycle, he sets his sights on defeating Aquross and dismantling the entire spectacle.
