After an extended absence from school, Yano Megumi is visited by classmate Igawa Akira, who arrives with class notes and information about an upcoming exam. During their conversation, Akira glimpses her private sketches and offers a playful way to address the inexperience reflected in her artwork. Their exchange grows more involved just as Fukuhara Shinobu, the class president and Akira’s childhood friend, enters the picture, drawn by her own feelings for him. The arrival of their teacher Susie Fujikawa soon adds another unexpected dimension to the gathering.
