During a winter getaway at a remote mountain lodge, private detective Susuki and his adopted daughter become stranded with several other guests when a fierce storm seals off the roads. The uneasy atmosphere turns grim when one visitor is found murdered, leading Susuki to examine the circumstances and question those around him. Clues reveal unsettling secrets among the group and stir fragments of his own forgotten past. Before long, however, the remaining guests begin to cast suspicion on Susuki as the likely culprit.
