Akitoshi trails the unfamiliar girl who has appeared at his school, puzzled by how the other students already seem to know her. Drawn by a sudden scream from the storage yard, he comes upon Mikage encircled by the shifting creatures called Yuragi. In that moment the fighter Ai arrives, cutting down the attackers and leaving Akitoshi uncertain whether she stands as ally or adversary.
